Jack .... He's a full-grown, 1 year old min pin/dachsund bundle of boy who weighs in at a whopping 8 pounds! So cute he'll give you diabetes on initial contact. I found him on Craigslist last Saturday afternoon. His guardian Jeff is being deployed to Iraq and needed a new forever home for Jack. That's where I came in.
I'd been scouring Craigslist for weeks specifically to make sure Judas didn't make an appearance there (it's a common practice for dogs to be taken in and then re-sold under the guise of re-homing). In the process I started opening up to the idea of a dog of my own. I happened to be sitting at the computer when Jack's ad came up. I made the call and an hour later I was Jack's new guardian.
Teddy was really into Jack for the first few hours. Now he just pretends he isn't there ... and vice versa to some degree. Jack still tries to make friends though. If I had to bet, I'd put my money on Jack eventually sucking Ted in just like he's done to the rest of us. Jack has charisma after all.And his fabulous manners don't hurt either :)
